P90X – America’s #1 at Home DVD Workout Program

Review Summary

MichaelF: Looks like people have had some real good P90X results. It’s all over the internet and the tv and seems like would be worth the price. Gueess there’s really only one way to find out.

Tracy: The P90x system seems to have all you need and I have 90 days to get fit it seems perfect actually I want to put in the effort and with these tools provided including yoga which I want to learn more about it and stuff.

Andy: Have heard some good things about muscle confusion based training. Seems like p90X were one of the first to bring it to the public and would get this program before any other DVD based training.

Julia: From what I am read online, the P90x reviews are pretty positive. I am gonna go ahead and try it, I am really hopping to loose a few pounds and get a firmer soon. I sure hope it works for me, I am excited!

Jules: Sorry but this looks HARD! I mean, I workout sometimes but I am not in good shape at all. I feellike if I tried this it would take me longer than 90 days to look that buff, and itwould be a painstaking process too. I don’t meant to sound likea wimp but, I think I need somethinb more basic than this to start. Glad I read up on P90x reviews it sounds good just not for me quite yet.

JuanitaCN: P90x workout schedule seems like it has very little equipment and is a comphrensive program so this is what seems like it would work for me because I need to learn again how to exercise every day and have it be fun and how to eat healthy but it satisfies I cant wait to learn and lose weight rigth with this which sounds good.

Anonymous: I sure like the idea of losing weight and getting fit at the same time, but doesn’t $100+ seem a tad high to you? Seems like I could do this P90X plan for cheaper if I just did some more research on line, and made sure I got the instructions I need for the Muscle Confusion part of this..that makes a whole lot of sense to me, no exercise plateaus that way, but the rest of it I bet I can put together myself…for way less.

SheilaBenson: Heard that you can work at your own pace doing the actual workouts, but that the 3 phase nutrition plan is really what seems to get you lean with P90X.

Shawn: P90x does seem hard but that is precisely the point. You have to push your body to see results I look forward to all the DVD routines as well as the muscle confusion technque.

Tim: It’s really not that hard if you are committed and have a goal. The stronger you get the further you can push and P90x is designed so you work toward your goal progressively. I am fan!

Don: Found out from a real good review on P90x that you can see some videos of how it all works online before you buy. Think that’s good so you can see wahts expected of you. Looks pretty challengng.

SAL62: NO this is not an easy program nor is for the faint of heart. If you want a challenge, well tehn, P90x is for you. If you struggle to touch your toes or get outta breath walking down the street, don’t even bother with this, it will b too much. I”m totally stoked about the P90X workout videos.

MrDean: ONe question: Do you pick and chooose the workouts you wanna do is there a set routien for doing all the videos? Like is there a set P90x workout schedule I guess is what I’m askin?

millerB: About P90X, do you really need to follow the nutrition part that strictly? From the calendar online, it looks like you don’t really get to eat all that much.

Alpha: The P90X program sounds like one I could really stick with, I mean, heck, all I have to do is change out a DVD if I get bored, and having it be a challenge is a good thing, am committed to changing who I am and how I look, am a little unclear about the nutritional side of this, but will do some more reading, I’m a can do kinda guy when it comes to finding my way around the kitchen, I’ve got no excuses not to get to the body I really want.

Arno: Wonder if I should get a check-up before trying out p90x . Have some old basketball injuries and would hate to pull a muscle while on this.

Rafael: P90x is not a weight loss program I have read it is an intensive fitness program to lose weight diet and take supplements I think But this is for guys who wan to get ripped.

Josh: Looking at the p90x workout schedule, day 4 (yoga) is worrying me a bit. I never done yoga and have no interest for it , to me it’s more for chicks and so I was wondering if I could skip the yoga and replace it by something else like another day 3 or day 5( Legs and Back, Ab Ripper X)?

JBlackwell: 12 dvds and that calendar seemed pretty daunting at first, but feel like anyone can do P90x as long as they devote some time each day to the programs. The mix of regular PE type exercises alone with Kempo and polymetric moves like jumping are all there for you to follow. The phased nutrition guide is just that but don’t think you’ll feel like you want to steer too far from eating healthy once you’re body starts to change.

Bennington: Like the Nutrition plan that comes along with the P90X program, it sounds like it would really work: listen up! #1, Fat Shredder, you eat a whole lot of protein, get rid of the fat; #2, Energy Booster, introduce carbs, more protein, less fat, gives a ton of energy to get through the middle part of this workout, and #3, Endurance Maximizer, lots of carbs for energy to finish strong, lean protein, emphasis on carbs for fuel for last few weeks. Man, I’m telling you, this plan looks to have it all!

Pete: I am ready to hit it hard with P90x and I am sure my body will change the reviews sound positive and I am ready for dynamic movement

Tom: If you don’t want to to the Yoga dvd, just make sure you do some kind of stretching in the same order. It will give your other worked muscles a break – P90x

CONNOR: Was just looking into the P90X nutrition plan it looks like could be a very important of this plan, especially if wegiht loss is your goal. Its 3 Phases: Fat Shredder, Energy Booster, and Endurance Maximizer. YOu eat complete meals including lean proteins and eggs, dairy products, fruits & veggies, bread and pasta and can have condiments too. Looks like the only thing they say to avoid is simple carbs, like sugar and fruit juice. Seems pretty healthy and complete if you ask me.I don;t think this program is just strictly about gaining muscle or whateve,r not like some of those weight gainers or steroids you can take. This may be challenging system but seems pretty well rounded to me.

Charity: I think P90x looks awesome people seem like they like it and have positive things to say about the endurance maximixer in my opinion it is not just for men,

Bogart: So it looks like my wife and I could do the P90X together, and that way it’s not such a bad cost, and maybe I could convince her to do the cooking, ’cause you know what it’s looking like we’re going to be needing some new clothes once we’re done with this program, I’ll buy ‘em if she’ll figure out the meals, let’s make a deal.

Sharon: Didn’t like the way the women’s stomachs looked on the P90X website. Too ripped for this girl. Was hoping to find something to attack the lower belly pooch, but P90X may not be it.

Cooper: P90x workouts seem extreme and like you will sweat and it will be tough I have no illusions but I think this will provide results seems like my peers also like it which is encouraging to make decisions about products for fitness you get from the online

TylerBingham: I think the P90x video is pretty good way to get a handle on the program. You can watch it here and read the testimonials too if you wanna know more about P90x results.

Endive: WOW! I am now so psyched to do the P90X DVD’s, the whole plan in fact, the before and after pics are so great, I can see how this works, 90 days, a new me and I can’t wait to get to the #9 Core Synergistics DVD it looks like it would do everything I need to really strengthen my core and back, what a program! Gonna order this afternoon, that’s gonna be ME, the after pic of the century!

Josh: Cool, maye I’ll just stretching only instead of yoga. :)

Renegade: Muscle confusion and having someone like T guide you and motivate you makes P90X possible for everyone, I think.

scoot: so far I think this looks totally aweomse. look how much fun they are having while pumping muscles and getting hear rate up.

prizefighter2000: REally don’t see the need to complain about the price. I mean for a few bucks you get 12 dvds- which you know, Dvds tend to normally cost $10-25 for one, depending on what it is right? And then you get that nutirion plan an d fitness guide. I don’t meant o sound like i’m selling this, just don’t understand the money talk. I think it seems like a great deal, and hey, if I don’t like it, i have like, 90 days, to return it. NO biggie.

Chipper: Lose weight/sculpt body, well, yeah, who wouldn’t want to do that, the P90X DVD’s/nutrition plan seems to take care of it all, 90 days to a totally new me, the testimonials for this are great, think it’s got me just about convinced to order, this stomach sag has gone on long enough.

Jan S.: So I understand the P90X workout schedule and even though it seems intense for someone like I am willing to give it a shot because i am super motivated to get in shape. Now the food, I am still not really clear about the diet. What are we eating for 90 days? Can someone post the diet plan here?

Lila: The nutrition plan should not be overloked though the P90x focus in on working out I think there is merit in a diet they provide I am ready for fat shredding phase one

RKlotz: Can you drink alcohol while doing P90X and still get results?

Crusoe: P90X Kenpo X, the punching/kicking exercises, sound like something I could really get into, then maybe the Tae Bo thing I’ keep reading aobut would be good too, and the diet part…together, goodbye flabby fat body, don’t know how I can lose with this program, plus a little of the extra maqrital arts type thing, always want ed to do that.

Tipper32: HEY so I know what someone was saying about that ripped ab look, doesn’t work for everyone. I think P90x exercise program basically looks good but I relly think the Flex belt is way cool for toning abs. Supposbly works by contracting muscles, and all you do is put the thing on, so simple.

Kevin: Which protein Shake is the best on the p90x nutrition plan?

FDamon: IF you are willing ot work hard, P90X could def change your body. If you aren’t interested in being ripped, take it down a notch. Seems like you can work at whatever level you want with all the dvds.

FloraGlades: Do you think the P90X is appropriate for somebody over 50? The DVD samples I looked at look awfully hard, I don’t know if I could even begin to be this powerful, I mean I don’t want to give up on a good body/health, but I’m thinking I need to look for something maybe a little more age appropriate.

Bellamy: P90x seems super high energy as far as the fitness goes I am less sure about their products such as their energy shakes I would rather make my own spinach smoothie but for some people they like this type of thing so I think since it has good reviews and looks fun I would try it I bet you get results in a few weeks’ time.

CarlosR: P90x program gets your heart rate up and makes you feel alive it seems to me from what I have read and watched from this progrm and reviews therefof seems like the joy is there and results wont be far bhind.

NancyhMilford: P90x comprehensive is the key word for me that I learned since I researched this program. It seems so@ It sounds like you can really get into tremendous physical condition, not just get skinny or something but to get fit toned stong and have more stamina those are my goals I hope to achieve and I think I will be getting this soon!

Allan B.: Someone asked about for a protein shake recommendation and to me it is Vega complete whole food (plant based formula) great numbers very high in protein 26g for 2 scoops…. Anyway it works well with the p90x program which btw is terrific for me.

Kenneth: Wonder if I can just borrow my friends DVD set, download P90X calendar schedule online, and still get the same kind of results that people are talking about.

Daryl: Does anyone know where to download some p90x workout sheets? I found lots of other information, like the P90x calendar from here which is pretty cool.

Owen: Guess you could get the dvds and download info, but that seems a little like piracy dude. Seems like the makers of a solid, proven workout program that took over a year to develop, would deserve to get what they’re asking for it. Especially if it helps you.

Edmund: The P90X nutrition guide seems kind of strict for just a guy to follow, I think I’m wanting some help with the recipes etc, hope my girlfriends up for it, I can’t do all these shakes and stuff by myself, other than that? Great idea, the diet and exercise together has got to do a number on ya.

Kelly: I am sure you could, if you friend memorized all P90x exercise routine…I personally still need mine, could not let anyone but a roommate borrow my dvds.

Gus: The P90X calendar? INSPIRATION, through and through. NO JOKE. :)

Hefty: The P90X workout sheets look like they’d be a big help, keeping all this DVD routines in some kind of order, thnk I’d lose trak, can post these, keep them in order, work through them with some kind of structure, I’m all about that.

Jack: P90x seems to me to the the embodiment of what I want to achieve with my body I am already in good shape I think but greatness eludes me which s why I am consideirng this plan.

JARII: P90X workout dvds seem challenging but results oriented. Would like to know what people are doing after the 90 days is up. Continuing with the food and wrokout programs or just as needed. Thanks.

Adam: The protein shakes don’t replace any meals just for your info, it’s just extra protein to help with muscle recovery…

Stephan: looks like after 90 days, you can either contimue the P90X program to get more ripped or use what you need a few times a week. Maybe not strict adherance to nutrition plan, but def use it as a good eating guide for the rest of your life, IMO.

JeffGar: just tried it for the 1st time and couldn’t make it through the warm ups. I tried the lien way and was not given an upper body warm up so now my elbow hurts. All the yoga stuff had my knees feel like they were going to explode. My physician cleared me for working out and I passed the fit test. Basically if your not in shape don’t do p90x do something a lot easier and work yourself up. Too bad I’m past the 30 day trial and can’t return it.
