Why are old school stomach ab work outs so hard?

diane: That is a good question. I HATE the old fashioned approaches, especially situps…I think situps have really done a number on my back. Then i tried the Ab Rocket, and that was no better in my opinion. I think these routines are hard bcs they force you to contort your body in all kinds of weird ways that are not natural. What i like about the abs contour belt that I am using now is that i can just sit comfortably and i i can feel it working on my ab muscles. Its so easy it almost seems unfair but hey, if they made this technology and it works, why should I complain?

Frannie: OMG, totally agree stomach ab workouts are so freaking hard, but I’ve been looking at something on the internet called an ab belt or vibro belt and it looks like a pretty easy way to get some results from the old mid section. Mine needs a lot of attention, and my New yEARS Resolution is to come up with a good fitness routine.

Bernadette: IF you ask me, its not really that the old school (as you say) stomach ab exercises are THAT hard, its that, its hard to motivate to actually DO them. And really, to be effective, feels like you gotta do a LOT of situps, crunches, etc. Gets old, boring. For me, its the routine thats tougher than the actual exercises. I;ve given up on that plan altogethr and gone for an ab toner, very easy to use.

EdenRock: I guess the old kinds of stomach ab workouts are so hard because mainly they just use your body and your own resistance to your own weight…and damn! they work! but so time consuming, and who wants to have to take a shower after you do them, esp. if you’ve already washed your hair and it gets all snarly and horrid again from stomach ab exercises that really make you sweat up a storm, that’s why I’m thinking a toning belt instead, I can keep my own schedule, follow whatever routine I want as long as I use it daily, and won’t have to go on melt down while it’s toning my abs. Think it’s a great idea, and time to move on from the past grunt and groan routines.

Loralei: They are hard and I think ther e is no reason to when their are good ab machines and a b belts and such I am getting something with my birthdy money and I am researching the best ones because I dont hve lot of time to exercise and I want an efficient way to get stomach ab workouts quick. I might try the Vibro Belt.

Lainey: Maybe the stomach ab workouts from awhile ago were harder than what we’re used to doing now, I mean, why do crunches when you can use an Ab Circle Pro, or try out an Ab Contour Belt? I’m thinking there’s a whole lot of new technology out there, so why stick with the old stomach ab exercises when you can get fast and reliable results from something else?

Liza: Doing stomach ab workouts are not so difficult if yo0u find a good piece of equipment to help you out. I had bought a Cardio Twister and it was better than regular situps. BUt lately I prefre using an ab shocker since its just so easy, especially since gaining so much weight being pregnant. Now i’ve got a healthy 4 month oldand tighter tummy, super easy to schedule it into my days too.

Frannie: Old school stomach ab exercises suck! And look out, because a lot of the machines from tv, that are supposed to make ab workouts easier, don’t. Especially that Ab rocker. That thing is tough. The only real thing I’ve seen since is an ab shocker.

Mabel: stomach ab exercises that are focused on the core fitness like Malibu Pilates re what havwe worked for me in the passed I might try a ab belt but I might go with what I now just to lose few lbs and then might consider toning machines…

EmilyRockett: Stomach ab workouts, stomach ab exercises, no excuse not to do them now, all you need is a Flex Belt to get fast and easy results staring in a week or so, why torture ourselves anymore?

Eric: That’s a good question. I mean whats the best ab toning belt for men??? I guess they old school ab workout are hard if we make them hard. There are tons of ab machines out there to help make it easier on us and it work just as well as the old school one for good ab exercises for men. The Ab Rocket is pretty good or the Ab circle pro, also the flex belt I heard is pretty awesome too.

Jennifer D.: Well I really don’t like doing traditional stomach ab exercises, they are really hard and I dont think i even do them properly bcs i hardly ever see any results. I was thinking about trying the Cardio Twister bcs i liked the idea of kinda consolidating my ab routine with my cardio but then i read some cool reviews about ab belts and i think they are the way to go. i can just do my regular cardio workout and just put the ab belt on in the evening while i hang out on the couch! for me it seems ideal.

JArosti: Yeah traditional stomach ab workouts can be hard, but EMS will help you build up enough strength to eventually be ableto do tons of crunches. Just be patient with yourself and make sure you stick to a healthy diet program that fits itno your shchedule.
