Ab Roller wheel exercises seem like they will get results eventually but I bet that an ab belt is much more efficient at helping your muscles become toned. Maybe if I get one that is good I will finally have 6 pack abs like I always wanted.

Ab roller video makes it look so easy and yes I think that both it and the ab toning belts are supposed to make your tummy tighter. The roller thing seems a lot harder to use and requires that you get on the ground, where as the belts you can use sitting or standing.

Well if you read some o f the ab ROller reviews online you might think this is the best thing ever but I used to use one at my gym and didn’t think it was all that great. I’ve never used a toning belt but I imagine if both are used consistently, the end results would be the same. ONly big difference I can see is hte abs belts are pretty easy to use and fit in a busy schedule pretty well.

Not sure about the comparison of results but I was just checking the ab roller site and ab roller reviews and that thing looks like it would take most of my tiny living room space! Where do you store it? does it come apart?
  5. Harold says:
An ab belt seems good for women but I think men have to do work and sweat and pump up I think an ab roller might be effective for targeted ab workouts a few times a week when you cant get to the gym.

The Ab Roller wheel exercises look like you can change them around until you get built up in your stomach, but that wheel doesn’t look all that great, the Ab Roller video I watched had this really strong guy using it, and still the thing looked kind of jerky, not a smooth motion at all…I bet it really does built up your abs, no question about that, i got tired just watching, so I’m think I’d rather do an ab toning belt instead, it looks like it’s an easy and fast way to get the flat belly I want, and without having to use some piece of equipment again on the floor.
  7. Ellen says:
The deal is that they are pretty different pieces of ab equipment. You can probably find some ab roller instrucions online and will pretty instantly notice that it is a tricky little gizmo to use, requiring a decent amount of arm strength. The ab belt, on the other hand, is easy to use. You wear it like a belt and it does some of the work for you.

The Ab Roller video seems like it is easy to follow. that said I dont think the results will be as good in the same amount of time as an ab energizer. i think using technology in this area is smarter. Workout and do cardio but to tone the core this ab belt looks promising.
  9. Foxy says:
I guess the Ab Roller instructions would show you how to start off with this thing, it looks kind of hard to me for somebody just beginning to exercise, and it also seems like it works out your arms and legs, too, which is fine, but my belly is where I want to concentrate all my efforts right now, so that’s why I’m thinking the results will maybe be the same with an ab belt, and I can get into it gradually, without feeling like a failure as soon as I start!

So its interesting that I read in the comparison Ab Roller Reviews that using the ab ROller maybe easier than a basic situp. But if you wanna know, what’s the deal with the Ab Roller TO ME it’s another ab toner device that takes being on the floor maybe sweating. :)

What’s the difference between the Ab Roller and the Ab Roller Pro? Do you get the Pro when you get really good at it? I’m thinking I’m not going to get either one because frankly it just looks to hard for seniors, I can’t see myself doing this, my little old arms would about crack from the looks of it! So a nice gentle and effective ab contour belt I think is way more appropriate for me, something I can get easy results, I’ll look good, and I don’t have to be on some kind of crazy gym schedule to pull it off.
  12. Sarah says:
Not sure if the results between the ab roller chair and an ab toning belt, all I know is that the ab toning belt is way easier to use. I guess I would recommend a belt after a pregnancy.
  13. Joy says:
What about the ab roller pro? Is that a better version that is easy to use? I was looking at some a b belts too, but sometimes I think you might get better results with a little more hard work.

I saw an Ab Roller for sale at one of those sporting good’s stores, like Big 5 or somewhere, does that store even still exist, so many of them closed, anyway, it was a good price, but I still didn’t get it because I really don’t want to have my face down in the floor when I’m exercising, it seems so uncivilized to me, I’d much rather be sitting on my couch watching tv or in the kitchen unloading the dishwasher while something like an ab belt is getting me the same results by me just wearing it for 45 minutes a day, doesn’t seem like much of a choice to me.
  15. Jordan says:
Ab Roller instructions seem easy no problem I can do this but do I want to wouldnt an ab exerciser be easier???
  16. Lonnie says:
You wanna know what the deal is wiht teh Ab Roller? To me its just outdated, thats what. I was looking online for some kind of ab equipment and saw the Ab Roller PLUs a VHS tape! VHS? I retired my VCR years ago, sorry. If you ask me, the abdominal toning belts look way more advanced, the technology for some of those has been shown to get results pretty fast, I think. IF you want innovation, I think thats the way to go, for men and women.
  17. Mindy says:
I saw an ab roller for sale a few weeks ago and was very tempted to get it. But, I like that anyone can use an ab toning belt, seems like the other might work better for men.
  18. franklin says:
well like someone else said, the ab roller machines are very different from the ab toning belts. only similarity is that they are all meant to work the abs. your question about the “end results” is pretty vague. I think the end results will be the same no matter what you use or even if you just devote your life to crunches. i mean, if you striving for a six pack….wouldn’t you work hard until you got it?
  19. StevensBaird says:
Ab Roller looks fun but an ab belt looks like it works to give you definition so you dont have to and can focus your energy and mental stuff on other types of strength training.
  20. MangoSpice says:
The Ab roller wheel thingy looks like it would sure give me a work out, but I wonder if I have to try so hard all the time still, now that I’m almost to the seniors benchmark, couldn’t I take it a little bit easier? Like with an ab toning belt? The before and after pics for the belt I’m looking at look great, I don’t see how anything else would get better results, women my age get to start being a little kinder to themselves about now, don’t they?
  21. bneuworth says:
Ab roller wheel is an odd looking, yet effective ab excercise tool, but yeah it’s not that easy to use. If you want easy and fast, do some research and find an FDA approved EMS toning belt.
  22. SelmaSONGS says:
What’s the deal with the ab roller ? It’s been around for a long time, and guess what, people still use them! I think that counts for something. And I do think the motion and support seems better than that ab roller wheel thing, that just seems awkward. i had not considered a n a b belt but maybe will now.
  23. Jenny says:
I think I would like to do ab roller machines exercises so that I can get a tight body and become a better figure I dont feel pretty I feel fat and I want strong waist muscles from an ab exerciser I dont know about am machines but I just think I would use this ab roller.
  24. Kallie says:
Here’s the deal. Ab toning belts are something you strap on and do nothing, or do tons of stuff and you will still get results. Ab Roller machines are totally different, you are working hard all the time, sort of like doing push ups, but in a back and forth rolling motion.
  25. cecilia says:
end results are probably the same. but the process is very different, for getting toned abs, it seems to me. i’ve been reading up on this and while the AB roller exercises might be fine for the abs, you really have to devote time. prefer the idea of wearing a flex belt or something while folding laundry or watching tv or whatever. even if i saw an ab roller for sale at a good price, i probably would pass on it.
  26. Perry says:
Ab Roller doesnt seem that cool. MOre like an ab belt is the newest technology. Those are how to get your abs and stomach in shape./
  27. PattyPamper says:
The Ab Roller Exercises sure seem like they’d do the job, no question about that, but what about my shoulders? I don’t know if I’m strong enough to do this kind of exercise, it looks like it takes a lot of strength that I don’t have…not that I don’t want it, it just isn’t there! So for now the abdominal toner belt I’m looking at seems like it will do me just fine, not so hard to use, and from the pics I’ve looked at, the results seem about the same…kind of a no brainer imo.
  28. MSolis says:
Well these ab roller reviews don’t seem all that great, but have seen some very enticing ads on tv for this. I think that the end results are very similar with all good pieces of ab equipment, and for some people the roller thing works, and for some the ab toner works. Just have to see for yourself!
  29. Kip says:
The Ab Roller Pro looks pretty basic to me. I think it could be a more efficient way to workout than just doing crunches or situps, because you keep your form. ANd its cheap too I don; t see any reason not to go for this one if you want relatively fast results.
  30. AC says:
The results of using an ab belt or doing sit ups are the same in my opinion. I don’t know about the ab roller exercises, I watched an ab roller video online and it looked like it was harder than crunches to use! PLus the girl was kind of big so it was a turn off for.
  31. Kay says:
I am so thinking that the ab roller looks like it would be better than an ab shocker I am just skeptical. I believe in doing. Things like Malibu Pilates. Not the vibro belt or whatever all else. Thats just me…
  32. Ritzy says:
The Ab Roller reviews I read were sort of mixed, mostly some people didn’t like the wheel itself, said it didn’t give a smooth motion to what the exercise was supposed to be, and I guess you’d have to do it on a carpet, it sure would wreck a wood floor, it just looks kind of control to me, that’s why I’m leaning towards one of those ab toning belts and so far all I’ve been reading say the results with one of these are really great, no set schedule, just when youcan work in a half an hour or so a day, that’s my kind of exercising!
  33. Beau_Ct says:
Ab Roller Pro is not for me. I tried it and just didnt like it. I am sure it helps some women but for me the ab exerciser is the quickest way to get into shape on your abs.
  34. lorena says:
I read some good ab roller reviews and some bad. I like the review someone posted earlier showing a comparison. I was hoping for something that would work and would be kind of fun and easy, I am not sure this is all that differnet from doing situps on their own??
  35. JasoUno says:
Don’t think you will get exactly the same results with the ab roller excercises and the ab belt. The EMS belts look like they target your muscles at more of a microscopic level.
  36. JERRY says:
WEll , it IS pretty cool that you can jsut download the Ab roller instructions from the website, if you got one of these things. I’d rather do this than situps but yeah from the ab Roller video I’ve seen online and the reviews, it will take a lot of work to see results. I think it makes more sense to devote moretime to cardio exercises and jut use an ab toning belt whenever its most convenient.
  37. Bunnylady says:
Think the Ab Roller looks like it would work good if you could actually do it, but I don’t think I can, I want something I can do sitting down, even like leg lifts with a bar or something, this roller looks killer for somebody that’s already in decent shape, I want something simple and easy right now, that’s why I’m looking at the ab energizer belt on tv I saw, an infomercial told all about it, seems like that’s a good place for me to start.
