Looking for an easy way to exercise abs that I can do to show fast results. Can anyone share a good program or routine?
KS_hulaHooper: Are you a woman? My favorite exercise abs at home is the hula hooping:) I have a pretty heavy one and i use it at least 3 times a week for about 15 minutes. Now if you area man, i guess you could try that too:) That’s my routine and to answer your question you can get fast results if you don’t have too munch fat around your abdomen.
WandaJune: To exercise abs daily is the only way I can see that’s going to work for me, if I have to go to the gym? Guess what, I’m not gonna go, too much hassle..so to exercise abs everyday it seems like the ab belt may just be my answer…easy, fast, no real routine needed, can do it while I’m doing the dishes! that’s what it says, anyway, not sure which one to order, there’s sure a lot of them on t.v. and online…which one works best is my question now….
Margot: Well i f u r looking to exercise abs at home I have a few ideas of what i do. I have always been a fan of Pilates and use several DVDs but really, to get the full effects you have to do it for awhile, the result sare not that fast. BUt its something you could start, and also use an abdominal toning belt to work the muscles. ANd also, do NOT underestimaet the importance of a cardio workout for flatter abs! I think its best to put in about 45min-1 hour 5 days per week. Run, bike, swim, dance, use an elliptical, whatever just sweat and burn, you get fastest changes that way, good luck!
Anonymous: An easy way to exercise for me has always been to walk. It clears my head and when I get going I could just walk for miles and miles. Lately its so cold and rainy and Im lazy. I want to exercise at home, inside and also be able to get things done around the house therefore I am reaidng reviews of ab machines that exercise abs while sitting, so I can pay bills online or catch up on email. If it works what genius invention! I will let you all know!
Melinda: well i personally prefer to exercise abs at home, I am not into gyms and really i don’t like most ab routines either. Before you all start jumping down my thraot about how i have to work harder, I have to say that i work hard on my cardio routine, I jog 4 mi/day every day and i watch what i eat. That doesn’t leave much time or inclination for an abs routine on top of that! after searching online i recently decided to go with an abs contour belt, you know the kind that uses electronic muscle stimulation? it’s only been a week so i haven’t seen results yet, but i do feel soreness in my muscles, just the same as if i had been doign situps! Pretty cool! i’m optimistic about seeing results.
Kal: First of all you gotta do a lot of cardio – at least 3x a week, everyone thinks its harder for women but excercise abs men is tougher to maintain. There won’t be anything too easy, but adding an electronic toning belt like The Flex Belt always helps if you can’t get to gym. But don’t forget cardio!
TRUCKERT452: YOu wanna exercise abs equipment is key, for getting fast results. Just doing various crunches and what not, aint gonna get you very far. I go to the gym myself but dont want any no gym ab workout so use the machines there, some work the obliques & others cover the upper & lower abs. Vary the weights, don’t overdue it but, feel the burn. Its gonna take some work but you stick to a routine for a few weeks, you’ll see it works. Maybe not as exciting as an ab shocker or what have you but nothing good comes easy.
LindaFremont: What’s the best way to excercise abs while sitting? Want to know if those ab belts are actually as easy as they look.
HelenaM: Kal, I was just wondering about that whole cardio thing I just read on line that if you do too mcuh of it you’ll get a skinny fat look, I guess skinny but no real tone? Who knew? So now exercise abs equipment is a must have for me, gotta do the weight thing, you know? Or, at least that’s what I ‘m thinking unless somebody else has a better idea, I want an easy work out, women shouldn’t have to work as hard as men to get in shape, but it seems like I should shoot to exercise abs every day if I want to look good.
CatchMeIfYouCan: I can exercise abs at home all the time, exercise abs at work, exercise abs while sitting…all possible with the Flex Belt! Let me tell you this is some discovery, my stomach is goin gonzo, what a trip!
Max: What ever happened to old school crunches? Am I the only one who exercise abs every day this way? If you don’t have too much fat, I say you can see results in about 2-3 weeks.
Allison: I want to see results fast and I need to exercise at home now that Im a mom and work from home. Busy busy. Looking at ab equipment for women and hoping that something strikes my fancy. I am tired of looking pregnant when I am no longer! Exercise abs at work would be a future dream come true.
Jasmine: I excercise abs everyday – Really good routine that’s given me fast results incorporates 9 daily Yoga moves, 40 traditional crunches and 20 minutes on the elliptical wearing an ab toning belt.
cara anne G.: so i know everyone needs to exercise abs women, though i swear, have a tougher time getting results. not just cuz of pregnancy and all that, but i just think we tend to store fat in our bellies more than men do. ANd itsucks! but what i am doing now is like max says, old fashioned crunches every day (about 200) PLUS I am walking or running every day for a tleast 30 minutes. And I tryto avoid sugar/carbs as much as possible. It’s not easy or super fast but it does work it you stick o a routine.
Norene: Exercise abs equipment comes in every shape and form, I’m using just plain old jumpropes for cardio and then floor crunches, pretty basic, huh? But it’s about all I can afford right now, say, though, those ab belts I’ve been looking at, sure seems like it would be an easy way to add a good routine to what I already do, can I buy one on time do you think?
DerekBKLN: Don’t need to spend a lot on heavy excercise abs equipement, just spend alittle on a few key compnenents liek resistance bands, a swiss ball and an abdominal belt and come up with solid routine that works for you. Easier and faster than you think!
Zoe: Derek, that sounds so great, I’m so glad you put all that together so I can copy you! Exercise abs daily is my new motto, and with all those ideas, it sound like it will be easy, cheap and fun…THX!
Junie: women exercise differently then men and I think we need some fun and motivation plus early results are good I dont want to cut corners but I know if I feel slimmer I will act accordingly less bread, etc. I am looking at quality ab machines I think this is the right thing for me right now!
Nuera: My mother-in-law says the only way she’s going to get an exercise abs at home program is if her son(my husband!) will buy her an ab belt, she’s so cheap sometimes I get really annoyed she’s got a ton of money she could sure use an exercise abs daily program, but I don’t see why we should pay for it, do you?
Victor: So when some of you say crunches, how often and how many do you do? and what kind of crunches? DO i need to exercise abs every day? or every other day? Thanks a lot.
micah: now, is it necessary to exercise abs every day? because i thought it was best to give ‘em a rest every other day, like with all other muscle groups? anyway, i use a resistance ball when i do my situps and that helps get fast results, or faster than crunches alone. will look into the ab belt reviews too, am interested in learning more.
Elieen: Well i think a program to exercise abs daily sounds ideal but not quite realistic with my schedule, i have three, count ‘em 3, children between teh ages of 2 and 5. AND a full time job. There is no routine that i feel i can do every day without completely exhausting myself and burning out! I do 20 minutes on my nordic track for cardio and i am about to collapse when i am done that. I want something SUPER easy that i can do while watching TV and get the same results as those darn situps. I have heard really good things about ab belts and i think i am going to go for it.
good luck 2 all.
Jason: Well I like to exercise abs at home using my floor, exercise abs belt look good but just an excercise mat and 08 minute abs. It’s not that easy, but the results are better than anything I ever got using an ab belt. Still keep it, and use it right after I finish, still burnung – exercise abs men totally gets my muscles to go that extra mile even when they’re spent.
Lauren: I would love a device to use so that I can exercise abs at work. I am at my desk all day and I have gained about a lot of pounds. I know I should go for more walks but it is just a busy season for us and I have responsiblities. I would love to get in some workouts at my desk wouldnt it be cool? Am trying one ab machine I read about supposed to tone and firm and stregnthen the core too! The idea of exercise abs while sitting is appealing but not sure its feasible.
Lisa Hitchener98: I think in order to exercise abs women really have to prioritize time, more so even than guys, because we women tend to be really focused and worried about keeping our thighs and butts in shape (not really a problem for men). so we are spending time doing cardio, and also doing maybe squats or other leg/butt specific routines…So far the best thing I have seen is the Flex Mini cuz it looks like it focus on the butt and thighs mostly which I NEED! I mean if an ab shocker can do that for me, then by all means, i will take advantage of it!
Kyle B.: Easiest thing to do is get yourself an ab toning belt, gets fast results and is best ab exercises for lower abs
, easy to use. Never knew I could exercise abs at work, but hey, thats what I do, yo know, whenever I have a chance to fit it in. Seeing more muscle tone in just a couple of weeks even exercise abs men can work!
Nedra: An exercise abs belt is what I’m after to complete my routine, I swim every day for Cardio, lucky I live in a place I can be in the ocean everyday…yes, but doesn’t get my stomach looking as good in a bikini as I’d like, think from what I’m reading this is going to become a regular part of my exercise routine, exactly what I’ve been looking for, spot reducing a baby belly will make me just about perfect, or at least that’s what my boyfriend says.
Gus: Came on here to say the best routine for abs is to do regular crunches, cardio and eat right. Now I’m thinking, I gotta get myself a flex belt, if i can use that to exercise abs while sitting. I wouldn’t call myself lazy by any means, but hey, if that can save me time, I’m not opposed.
Sean: Hey Kyle, what toning belt do you have? DO i still need to do crunches if u use an abdominal toning belt? Do you exercise abs daily with it? Thanks man.
Ilaria: shopping for exercise abs belt because I knwo that I will show quick results and basically then I will eat better it always goes like this for me a a b machine with all the bells and whistels I need a little entertainment for my exercise to be consistent.
Curtis: exercise abs men – easy floor routine – 50 crunches, 50 push ups military style, 20 minutes running on balance trainer wearing The Flex Belt. Ripped.
MarlaJean: Exercise abs women have to do it everyday to make sure of results, but who’s got the time, right? So as my new routine, I’m trying an ab shocker, I’m tired of all the work I was doing at the gym, plus I got so sweaty! Anyways, this abs belt if working great so far, try one and you’ll see I’m right, easy to use everyday of the week, don’t even have to plan for it, just strap it on and look for great results.
Kyle B.: Am using the Flex belt Sean. No more crunches for me but in order to exercise abs men still need to do lots of cardio, as someone said, it is key, for getting toned/definied. Using it 5 days/week, plus about an hour of cardio. Try it, think it comes witha guarantee so, if you don’t like it or whatever, no harm.
Victor: THX Curtis really am wanting an exercise abs belt!
TeddieOphuls: Exercise abs equipment is all I can think about, trying to decide what I really want to do, your question about a good program or routine is exactly what I’m on the look out for, too, just wonder if all the talk about an abs contour belt is on target or not, guess I’ll have to find out for myself…
Anya: Seems to me if you exercise abs daily its kind of overkill but what do i know? I do Pilates 3 days a week and cardio 4-5 days. I have been seeing results this way, my whole core is stronger not just my abs. This is a good one for exercise abs women. I takes work but Ive gotten use to the routine and do not see a nee df or fancy machines or abs belt.
Dane: Dude, I have a flex belt and don’t do nearly that much and still get some good results. Curtis, you are an animal but I’m gonna reccommend wearing this while jump roping for a good routine. Real results fast and you can do it at home.
