Just wondering if anyone can share any ab exercises or oblique crunches?
98raj: I like do oblique crunches on stability bal – trying to maintain balance on the ball gives me more resistance and doesnt hert my bac -do this at least 3 time a week and then I also wear a toning belt. think that helps to.
KarenMH: What is an ab toning belt? I just do oblique crunches each side, 30 of them, then forward crunches, also 30. Not that easy, but those are good ab exercises.
Lola4: Took me a while to get into a routine with this but I’ve been doing some oblique crunches exercise moves that are pretty good, what you do is lie on the fllor, keep your hands behind your head and cross the right leg over the left knee, THen curl diagonaly across the body and do as many reps as you can. Totally burns, it ain’t easy but works good.
Lise: I was told by my friend whose boyfirend is a personal trainor to do oblique crunches on stability bal to get my tummy tight the trouble is I have no idea what that means. I cant afford to go the gym right now I just get denise austin tapes from the libary.
Babette: I tried oblique crunches on stability bal but the only one I could do was the very beginning one, the other’s, the intermediate/advanced? All I did was fall off, and feel stupid in the process, so I’m looking too, for a good oblique, like maybe some floor ones, or maybe I’ll try an ab belt, those are supposed to get everything around yur middle, aren’t they?
TheresaMONTGAL: Oh yeah, oblique crunches on ball are good, but I also like to do reverse curls and regular crunches, as well as following a video I got online called Crunchless Abs which is full of good ab exercises. Love it and so funny people have mentioned ab belts here – just started looking at those too!
suzanne: you know, there’s not a lot of effective oblique crunches exercise out there, not that works for me, anyway. I have tried a lot of different approaches and routines, but with no results. i have heard that ab belts can target the obliques a lot better than crunches or situps.
Amelia: when you do oblique crunches each side needs to be done correctly and the trouble is I get bored and lazy. I need an ab excersie to do while I am watching tv or online. thats just how I am.
Kareena: I’ve been doing oblique crunches each side with some floor exercies I found on google, that’s what you should do, check online, lots to look at, some videos if it’s hard for you to fllow just words for directions like it is for me, they’re working pretty good, but I’m thinking I want fast results, more than I’m gettingnow, am ordering an abdominal toner belt to get me in shape quicker, I hope.
dean: yeah, amelia makes a good point, both sides need to be even. i actually find that following an oblique crunches video can be very useful, because then you don’t looose count and someone else is thinking about switching up the routine a bit. Look online for a good oneI had not not heard that about abs belts, Suzanne, but have not researched those types of things enough. MAybe I gotta look intot aht too.
KPdutysucks: I find that it is better to do oblique crunches floor, not on ball, but that’s just me. Seen lots of online reviews about those ab belts too, but have not tried one yet. I work in a bisy kitchen and wonder if it is something I could wear during my shift.
Anonymous: I’m trying oblique crunches on ball, a routine I found online and then I bought a Swiss exercise ball to use, but it’s kind of hopeless, I’m thinking I need something way more easy and fast than this, that’s why I’m reading reviews on an abs belt I saw in a magazine, looks like the results I’m looking for without killing myself!
Sue: Check online for oblique crunches exercise. All u need is mat and get in the routine of doing it every other day. That;s what i do.
Luella: I would do oblique crunches on ball because I know its effective for sculpting abs but I am busy. I know its no excuse but I am. I need to ge tin my exercise while I tidy up the house or catchc up on emails. more research on ab belts!
IloveyouSusieQ: Oblique crunches floor exercises are pretty good, I’ve been trying to do about 3 different ones I found online and some ab exercises too, but I have to say my back is giving me trouble from these, I have trouble keeping my neck straight, my chin down, there’s so many instructions! I’m looking for something easy and fast like maybe one of those ab belts I’ve been hearing about…they sound extra good to me about now because I’m having to crawl up my knees to stand up….
AmandaDreams: I just saw a pretty well oblique crunches video on youtube using the stability ball. I tried it and it felt right. U should check it out.
Carlie: I had to watch an oblique crunches video on YouTube to really get the hang of them, but they are good. Just go online and type “oblique crunches” into Google and you will see that they are actually pretty easy to do. I want to get into a little better shape before I get an ab shcoker, I heard they work better if you have less fat around the middle.
Nelly: I’ve been doing an oblique crunches video for a couple of weeks, and man, it is SLOW, all that mat work, twists in a lot of different ways, but it’s just not getting rid of my love handles very fast, my husband still pinches the fat that sticks out over the top of my jeans, sometimes that really hurts my feelings ’cause I’m working so hard to get perfect…ANYWAY, what about those ab toning belts, do you think one of those would help?
Morgan: oblique crunches floor exercise routine that I learned from a class at my gym is great. It really works to tighten and improve the appearance of my abs. I have always been pudgy in the middle but now I look more taut.
Emily: Hey is there an oblique crunches video I can watch to learn the proper tecnique? I dont want to do them and have them not be right and not work…
ravi: jsut got myself an ab toning belt, was totlally sick of doing the oblique crunches floor exercises. i was being very diligent, sitll didn’t get too far. using an abs belt, cuts my workout time in half and swear i;m more toned in just 3weeks of using this. this is the way to go.
DNugent: Best way to do good oblique crunches exercise is to do em on a slanted bench. Maybe not for the ladies, but if you are a guy it really attacks the love handles fast. Tack on an ab energizer after your work out and your good to go.
Lorinda: Oblique crunches exercise is kinda boring, not much you can do but keep stretching away to try and get rid of the fat deposits that are somehow just about impossible, why the heck does fat settle there, anyway? I’ve started using my boyfriend’s plank, but I still want something that’s going to give me fast results, keep watching an infomercial on t.v. about an ab belt, maybe I should find out more about it.
Chuck: best type of workout you can do is doing them oblique crunches on ball like a stability ball. takes time to get used to it but does the job, get sthe whole core. BTW whats a oblique crunches on stability bal ?
