Is an ab toning belt be all you absolutely need for a fast and easy abdominal exercise routine?
TM566: No, I don’t think an ab belt alone will give you the best results, but they certainly are easy to use, and combined with an abdominal exercise video and maybe an abdominal exercise ball – you are bound to see some fast results.
Hartley: I personally like to use an abdominal exercise video because it is motivating and I learn how to do the movements properly. I have never tried a belt, not that I am opposed to one, but for me it’s keeping me active now that I am retired.
georgina: Not really sure, because i never tried an abs belt myself. What I NOrmally do is look in magazines or online for abdominal exercise pictures and try to mimic them. I try to find somethingnew every few months to keep myself motivated and see what works better. Personally am not a huge fan ofany type of abdominal exercise equipment I rather use different floor exercises.
Gina: The abdominal exercises video I use is one for Pilates, it’s great, add the ab belt 30 minute routine on when I’m done, getting fast results with the two things together.
Carly: Was just reading some reviews about ab belts and it certainly seems like it would be part of a good abdominal exercise routine. I am looking for something other than this dumb abdominal exercise wheel I bought a while back of the t.v. That was a bad choice.
ethan: I seem to get pretty good results with the abdominal exercise machines at my gym, plus cardio workouts. I think even if u choose to just use an ab toning belt for abs, you still gott a do cardio.
Caroline: I have an abdominal exerciser ball that I like a lot, the Swiss ball? But lately I’ve been hearing a lot about an abs toning belt, that’s what I think I’m going to use besides, don’t think just the belt is going to be enough for my waist…
Eva: The abdominal exercise routine I’m doing right now has a lot of floor exercises, I even am trhying those wheel boot things, theylook kind of dopey but I’m liking the moves I’m doing with them, think they’re tightening up my stomach pretty good, but not very fast, that’s why I’m thinking an ab belt too, but I don’t think I want to stop what I’m already doing, feels good to have my legs get a bit of a workout too.
Chaz: Well I think you’ll see results no matter whatyou do, as long as you have a consistent regular abdominal exercise workout routine. My question is whats a good ab machine?
Denise: I’m trying that abdominal exercise wheel, the ab roller? It sure is working good on my abs, I can tell you that, but the results are not all that fast as I want, so I’m going to look at reviews online about ab belts too and see if that will speed things up, but to answer your question, no I don’t think the abs belt by itself is prolly enough.
Nina: The answer is depends what kind of shape you are in. The ab toning belt definitely helps and u can see results pretty quickly but if you have a lot of fat around your stomach you may want to also do cardio to burn faster. abdominal exercise pictures are also available online if you wanted to try that first.
Candace: I have an abdominal exercise belt that I bought when I saw it on t.v. it works with steam, it gets my belly very, very hot, in fact I’m a little afraid I might get burned, so I want to find out about the EMS belts, those sound safer and like they’d work better, just want to buy the best one…oh, and still hae to stay on a diet, no way those abs are ever gonna show with what I’m carring around.
Tara: I just got into using an abdominal exercise ball though I am not sure it is worth it I would imagine that for travelieng an ab belt is much more practical I know for the holidays we will be drivieng all over the northeast and staying with family and I dont want my new workout routine to suffer. Might get one of those!
JaniceD: I don’t think there are any absolutes, but an abdominal exercise belt will surely help get you toned in the middle. I was limited to this type of abdominal exercise during pregnancy – very low currents and perfectly safe, and just easy enough to use and I still use it along with more vigourous ab work routine after baby.
Desiree: Wish I knew, I am considering getting one for once my baby comes because I don’t think I’ll have time in my schedule to do much else, and I’ve read good reviews on the abdominal exercise belt. For now though, I Am currently wondering aobut a good & effective type of abdominal exercise during pregnancy, if anyone has tips, please share!
Wulfy: My wife thinks that abdominal exercise during pregnancy is fine for her but I’m trying to get her to quit, this is our first baby and I think she should be very very careful, do you think it’s safe for her to use an ab belt for now, or should she wait until after she has the baby, she’s so compulsive, I have to get here something to exercise with that’s safe for now..and later, too.
LesliePinkerton: The abdominal exercise workout I have in place right now is getting tres tres boring, I’m about ready for a change, looking at the abdominal toning belt on line that somebody told me about, the Flex Belt? Then I”m going to come up with anew routine and add the belt onto it, whatever it turns out to be, and maybe I’ll finally stay interested long enough to finally get to the 6 pack ab stage.
Alan: Simply because i said easy I inclined to answer yes. Fast results, it’s subjective, good ab exercises for home
maybe could come with a belt. I also use a few abdominal exercise equipment at the gym 2 times a week.
Fiona: You can get a pretty decent abdominal exercise workout from an ab toning belt if you use it while active. Even walking with it on will give you better results then strapping it on and sitting on the couch. I do squats and medicine ball throws with my boyfreind while wearing mine. All floor work like crunches and push ups – don’t have it on.
Emilee: I need an abdominal exercise routine I can do from work since I am there almost 10 hours a day. I wasnt sure about an ab belt but you guys have got me wanting to try one…
BettyLou: Sorry just curious, how do you use an abdominal exercise wheel? sems more complicated than abs belts.
Nancy: The abdominal exercise machines I use at the gym are about to k*ll me, I’m really tired of the whole gym rat routine, but I’m wondering too if the ab belt I’ve been hearing about is going to pick up all the slack if I quit, maybe I could cut back to just a couple of days, I’m SO tired of the competition there, honestly, I need something way easier.
Gina: I’ve tried a bunch of abdominal exercise equipment and ab waist belt, I’m using a hula hoop right now I saw on a t.v. infomercial and it’s really fun, even though my kids think I’m nuts, but it’s just not quite doing it, that’s why I think I’m going to get an abs belt, too, don’t think one or the other by themselves is going to be enough, but togehter? Got my fingers crsooed, never doing crunches again, so this better work.
Barb: ive never heard of an abdominal exercise wheel but my sister is using one and she loves it I kind of want to be a little different from her so I am hoping getting an ab belt will give me an edge on having a tight body.
Aaron: Gonna jump in here and say, yeah, using an abdominal toning belt is a good thing to use as part of an abdominal exercise routine, and it works pretty fast to get noticeable results. ‘Course, it all depends on your body type & whatyou want to get out of it, I mean, running helps, and eating reight helps too, I think it takes alittle more work if you trying to get really slim & sculpted.
karen: definitely easier than any other abdominal exercise machines I’ve used and pretty fast results i would say. But i guess it doesn’t hUrt to do some cardio too.
Kaitlin: I love looking at the abdominal exercise pictures on line, you know, the before and afters? Some of these at home machines really do seem to create miracles, and from what I’m seeing the contour ab sculpting system I’m looking at will make it happen for me, too, I sure hope so, I’m sick to deat of my fat belly but I really hate to sweat! Be great if this works as good as it looks.
Traci, KT: WEll, it eliminates the need to do a ton of crunches, if that what you mean by “all you need” with a toning belt. I dno’t do any other types of ab exercises, I just get on the elliptical trainer fo r45 minutes a day. I think its easier & faster results than using an abdominal exercise ball, that thing is tough!
Lilli: Most of the abdominal exercise machines I’ve tried are pretty hard to use, but I think the abs contour belt is actually a good, simple piece of abdominal exercise equipment. Like others have said, works better with exercise, but also good when you don’t have time to do a full workout.
karen nesbitt: since i like variety & different challenges i still use an abdominal exercise video a coupel times a week, in addition to using my flex belt ab toner 4 or 5 days a week, for a half hour. i don’t know if i NEED to but i feellike it motivates me more to follw the video on occasion. i usuealy wear my belt while watching tv or walking, depending on the day & am for sure, seeing results.
Alison: an abdominal exercise belt is not exactly what I had in mind but why not? I am not great at scheduling time to exercise so maybe this will help with me effort to get in shape by 2010.
Karen: The abdominal exercise video I use, the Jillian Michaels? So hard! But I love how it makes me feel, make sme keep wanting to do more and more, get as fit as she is, so I’m not giving that up, but I AM getting an abs belt so I can exercise TWICE a day, that’s what I think you mihgt want to do, to…feel the burn!
Allison: Have you seen some of those abdominal exercise pictures online? They look hard – am 48 and can’t do all that floor stuff anymore. I like a toning belt because I can use it walking or sitting. I can actually see my muscles moving so I know it is working. Easy and fast – fits with my busy schedule too.
Alfreda: I’ve about given up on my abdominal exercise ball, I keep falling off the dang thing, never know which way it’s going to toss me, I’ve about decided to go full time with the abs belt and see how it goes, ready to stop having all these bruises from dumping off that ball onto the cement floor in the basement.
Libby: whatare exapmples of safe abdominal exercise during pregnancy? Thanks. this is my first and I am excited but dont want to get to fat.
Daria: an abdominal exercise workout that I do every other day is to doing the bicicyle on your bike its fun and it works. the other days I use an ab belt. good combo and to me the best abs routine.
Jasmine: abdominal exercise machines can be good but who has the time? With an abdominal belt I can multitask!
