I know there are many ab work out routines but are there some that are better for men vs women. Look forward to hearing your reviews and tips if you have any?

Julie Hall: Have decided that a very good ab work out for women is doing Pilates 3 days a week for good ab exercises at home. SImple as that, devleops the core muscles, makes you longer & leaner, firms the abs, the glutes, the thighs, everywhere! Its really a good ab work out plan.

Keegan: Well I think using a machine or medicine ball is a good ab work out for men, something where you can add weightt s or use a lot of resistance. And als o try to be consistent but go for variety in your routine, don’t just do the same ol; thig every day.

Liz: I need ab work out tips specifically for a 41 year old woman pregnant for the first time. I was a little heavier than I would have liked going into the pregnancy and I am now 8 weeks along. I want to stay halthy and not gain too much weight.

Rivers: IF u are looking for a good ab work out at home I am really impressed with my abs belt. CAn be used by men & women, probably only diference would be where you set your intensity level at. You do this and jog 5 miles, best abs routine ever.

Ginger: Ab workout tips for men sometimes seem to have anabolics wrapped up in them, not for us women, that’s for sure! I myself don’t want to get those horrid looking muscles that seem to ripple and bounce, yech! So, if you want to appeal to women, I think you should go with a more middle ground, you know, those abdominal benches seem good, and the slant boards with pulleys, also a good thing to use, and maybe even an abdominal belt workout? Just don’t overdo so you look like you want to gaze at yourself in the mirror all the time and not at your sweetie!

vincent: In my opinion the best ab work out for men will be an alternation of crunches and cardio.

Theresa: There’s some good ab workout videos that are for both men AND women, like Jillian Michaels, and what’s wrong with that, why does it have to be men first, huh? Jillian will give you a great workout, no matter who you are, and if you follow it up with an abdominal toner belt, you’re really going to have something, that’s what I’m doing, and yeah, obviously I’m a woman, but I want to be fit too!

FLisin: Can only speak for myself of course but I got some good ab work out tips watching a video called Crunchless Abs. I think it’s mroe for women, but I had a hard time losing weight after my pregnancy and this helped. I also use an ab toning belt on the days I can’t do a full on workout.

Paula: I have tried to do work out videos and I get so bored I quit and sit down and eat a sleeve of cookies while I watch them workout I need something like an ab belt that I will actually use consistently. I need to be less fat!

AnnaMayTrumbull: An ab workout plan is essential to both women and men if you want to have continued results that you can count on, and really, if you’re not into heavy body building, they can be the same, mostly, for both sexes, nothing wrong with that, and maybe you can find somebody to work out with and that will be a happy thing for you? Doesn’t have to be just a guy thing you know, but belly burner weight loss belt reviews are usually for women. :)

Mark23: For men, I think ab work out videos are kind of a waste of time – a good crunch and cardio routine will work, but if you want to see want to start out easy, try an ab belt and walk a lot.

Gidget: There are so many different kinds of ab workout equipment available, I think something like a Pilates plank, you know, with the resistance pulleys, is a great thing for both men AND women, you can adjust the height of the plank so it will work for whatever shape you’re in, and then can follow up with a ab belt session, like it that both can be used by men and women, think of the money you can save!

KENDRA: Well, whether you are male or female I think its always a good idea to take advantage of the ab work out machines and develope your own ab work out routine on them, like with adding weights and doing plenty of reps,a t least three sets, all a that counts. Especially if you belong to a gym, why spend money on a belt or something when you already pay fo r a membership, just use it regulrarly.

LotusBlossom: An ab workout routine I like is to do about 100 crunches, that warms my muscles up, then I go for about a 3 mile jog, then when I get home I use my flex belt for another 30 minutes, the whole thing take a little over an hour and when i’m done I know I’ve done a good thing for myself, routines can be sort of comforting you know, and besides, it’s allmaking me look darn good!

Jerseygirl5: A good ab work out plan for me includes lots of cardio – elliptical for at least 30 minutes, then crunches, then plank, then more crunches (oblique) then plank again, then ab contour belt for 15 minutes. – Female from Trenton, NJ

Azamuth: The ab workout machines I use at the gym are good for both men and women, it just depends how much weight you use on them, so just add and subtract for whoever you are, wherever you are in your routine, there’s gonna be a trainer that can help you set up a program and then use an abdominal toner as a cool down, makes a nice finish to any workout.

urthebest: If you don’t have ab work out equipment a good ab work out routine you can do at home is simple crunches, push ups and plank holds – rest and repeat at least 30 minutes total. This will work for men and women and give you results fast.

Geraldine: my ab work out plan ab is just to walk every day and to eat fewer carbs. It may not be fastest ab workout but I think that should work and if not then i’ll get an ab belt for my new ab work out routine. Anyone have any ab work out tips to recommend?

SalamanderSal: Ab workouts for women are maybe more on the yoga/pilates side, both of which I do, and love. I take 2 classes of each a week, they have them at my gym starting at four in the afternoon, and then when I get home I use my husbands abs contour belt for another 1/2 an hour, seems to be working very well for me, getting kind of a long and lean look, which I quite like.

Robin: I am buying a piece of ab work out equipment today no matter what because I am determined to loose weight this year. I am reading reviews and just going to go for it. thanks!

Corrie: My ab work out routine includes doing crunches and riding the stationary bike. I think it is workin cause my jeans fit better.

Jasmine: ab work out machines have worked for me at the gym but I wonder if I got one for home use if I would use it. There are a lot to choose from but I am ready to work. I too may even consider ab work out videos.

Tyrone: YEah so I would say using any type of ab work out equipment- be it a ball , a bench or board, or oone of them abs belts, is gonna help you better target the abdominal muscles & get you better results.

Bea: I am looking for a ab work out for women that targets the post baby body. It is almost a year since little Kynan was born and I am still looking chubby.

Ave13East: Ab work out machines for the most part are not something I use but I do a pretty good program for women called The Firm. You can get more info online. I also wear an ab belt daily while cooking dinner.

Emmeline: thanks for the tips on an ab work out at home that will work for someone who is busy and overweight but who has the desire and the will to change her life. What about ab work out videos?

Oscar: CAnnot say what ab work out equipment better for men or for women, all I can say is, develop a ab work out plan for yourself, including crunches or sit-ups of some variety, do 30-45 mintues of cardio to burn fat and be consistent, you will see changes, won’t be easy, but worth it.

Dana: Must learn about an ab work out for men. My husband has gotten so fat and he wont stop drikning beer. I need to get him to lose that beer gut somehow. Then its on to ab work out for women for me. :)

StrawberryRhubarb: I like the ab workout at home routine that I’m doing, I do about 1/2 an hour of Pilates with a DVD I have, then I get on my treadmill with the abs belt my husband ordered, but it fits both of us which is kinda neat, and I run for about another 1/2 an hour, I’m done for the day, feel like can take on the world with that kind of start, it’s not all that easy, but I’m sure liking the results I’m getting.

Darcy!: THere are some great ab work out videos for men & for women, I like denise austin but there are many others, that might give you the best idea of a new routine. I also use an ab energizer for addiitonal toning though & love how well good ab work out machines work and easy too.

Princess: An ab workout for men? I dunno, my husband wears a flex belt about 30 minutes a day, says it’s all he needs, he’s looking pretty good, too, have to say it seems a fast and easy way to get toned, but I’m thinking I’m gonna try it myself.

DotVA: Hearing about some some good ab work out for women here and I was also interested in ab work out at home info, I don’t live anywhere near a gym and I need a good plan. Gonna check out the abs belts that everyone is talking about.
