I have seen a few abs belt reviews but am undecided. What is a good routine to get firm abs?

Heidi Brewster: So with an abdominal toning belt, do you really get firm abs fast? Like HOW fast? I am so sick of my flabby stomach despirte the hours of crunches i do. Could I see results in a week with one? Can anyone recommend any abs toner belt review ?

Melanie: What ever you do if you want to get firm abs fast rather it’s exercising (crunchers are though but really good for abs) or an abdominal belt, always make sure you eat healthy (carb are the stomach’s enemy) and also make sure you do some cardiovascular workout (walking counts).

Catelyn: i need a way to firm abs FAST as i have won a vacation in Curacao & do not want flab hanging out of my swimsuit! have an incredibly busy schedule and need a routine that can fit in…i too am interested in ab toning belts but do they really work? they almost seem too easy. i need results and FAST.

Holly: Yes I have heard that too, about carbs being the stomach’s enemy. What about dairy? I remember reading once it sgood to eat more dairy prodcuts to get firm abs fast, is that true? I know these studies have conflicting results like, every year. Anyway, I’ve been faithfully doing situps & crunches and its not getting me very far, I read some good reviews on the belts and think of maybe trying that one oout.

Kimmy: I want firm abs, fast! I know that eating carbs is a very bad thing to do, but if I don’t have them during the day, like if I eat a sandwich for lunch I’m fine but if I only have a salad I’m starving by 2 o’clock, anyway, I’m happy to do firm ab workouts, but I have to have the energy to do them, so maybe I’ll just do more, that’s why the ab belt reviews I’ve seen are so tempting, I figure I could work them into my schedule any time of day, doesn’t seem to matter what I’m doing, I could have that on and be exercising, and then do crunches TOO, seems like that’s what I’m going to have to do if I still want pasta and bread, which I most def do.

VIV: Wow, lucky you Catelyn! I never win anything, except the occasional lotto ticket, woo hoo, and then the luck ends there. Anyway you know I have tried 8 minute abs and 7 minute abs or whatever else kinds of firm abs workouts they put on DVDs, I won’t say they don’t work but following the workotus, gets old real fast. ANd its slow results. Anyway, I got one of those abs contour belts and yes it DOES work. Routine is simple: strap the belt on, set the intensity level you want and go about your business for 30 minutes until your done. I swer my middle felt firmer in just a week.

Me: My experience proves those 2 pseudo studies to be wrong. My advice is eat whatever you want with moderation. I drink milk, eat cheese and have bread but there a few nutritional rules that need to be respected. Balance is the key. AS for getting firm abs/flat stomach it all works! Just have to do something about it. Cardio/balance meals/ and you can either do sit ups and/or crunches or/and an abdominal toning belt. Like i said it all works and depending on how far you are coming from you may have to adjust your diet.

Cybil: Well, I’m doing tons of crunches and I’m not enjoying them, I can tell you that, but it seems like it’s working, kind of slow, but hey, I’m getting there, I’m just wondering if the firm ab exercises we’ve all done for so long are the best way to get the end rresult of a flat tummy, maybe there’s something to be said for these ab toning belts I’m seeing all over the place, has anybody used one and gotten the results they want? I’m kinda on the fence, wish I knew whether I should order one or not!

Ric Taylor: HEy what I like to do is where my a b belt while i go for a run or workout on the elliptical trainer, its a good routine for me. 30 minutes of cardio plus the additional ab workout. You can sit on the floor til u blue int he face doing firm ab exercises and not even get as good results as this. Read the reviews, see what sounds best to you, and hey, look for a guarantee just to be safe. Good luck.

Vincent: Get a life people, just need an answer to my question, this is not Dr Phil’s website.

Catelyn: Ok, THANKS Viv, that sounds great, and about as easy as it gets. i really want firm abs flat stomach for that bikini. is there a particular one you can recommend? i am a bit scared of those ab shockers but maybe that is just a scary name for this EMS technology.

NettieJames: The firm abs flat stomach look I’m after? Not really happening. I think here’s why. I love to eat, and I hate to exercise, so even though I’m trying to get a good workout like every other day or so, I’m still having grilled cheese and tomato sandwiches for lunch, so how far is that exercising going to get me, right? That’s why I’m thinking if I used an ab belt, besides my regular ab workout every day, I might begin to see a difference in my stomach, sometimes by the time I go to bed at night it looks like I’ve just eaten 14 pounds of food, but if I have the toning belt on while I’m watching t.v., maybe that would make a difference???

CHUCK: Get teh Flex belt your confusion will be over. Like others said, diet is important, sure, if you want firm abs flat stomach all that, and cardio is KEY if you gotta burn any fat. For toning muscles, try a ab energizer, stick to your diet program and let this thing work for you, easy.

Dave: Not sure about any of those abs belt, all I can tell is firm abs exercises is what worked for me. Do 8-10 series of about 25 crunches a day at least 5 days a week, combined with some cadio, it’s about the best routine I have found.

Leslie: I do need to do a good diet program but these firm abs exercises i have been doing are just killing my back…i am a senior and i thjink i need something a bit mroe merciful and easy on my body. Seems to me these abdominal toning belts are pretty good i have been reading some reviews online and i like some of the products i am reading about.

Betsy: A firm abs workout is maybe not in the cards for me I hurt my back doing too many crunches, so now I’m looking at an abs belt, that could work really well it seems like, women like me sometimes need a break from all the hard things we try to do, so t.v., an ab toning belt, that may just be the new me.

Claude: Yeah, man, try an a b belt. Best (easy) firm abs workout you can find, i swear. read the reviews, i really am blanking on the brand i have right now, but its good. i’m sure a lot are good, and proably a lot are crap. I ahve a busy schedule so, an hour at the gym is all I have time for. This, I work in whenever I can, about 5 days a week, real simple.

Gwen: I agree after reading the reviews and doing research on firm abs workout my conclusion is that the flex belt seems to be the best. I must admit i am a bit lazy and i want something easy that i can do infront of the TV, in my spare time. this seems like just the thing.

Nettie: PRegnancy tooka toll on my stomach, and I;m using an ab toning belt to get back in shape. I think its working good so far, super easy to use. I don’t feel like theres a ny special routine required with it, and I know its good for men & women both. I’ve never been big on doing firm abs exercises but using this I don;t really need to think about it.

Ted: Good routine = low carb diet+crunches, you are guarantied to have firm abs fast that way. Not sure about ab belt, i have never tired.

Nadine: I’ve been doing crunches on a slant board with these pullye things and at first my stomach was really sore but now it’s beetter, I like it, but it’s not very easy, for sure, I’m tired of the routine of it all, so am looking for maybe an ab belt so I can take it a little slower, I think I deserve that at 55, I want firm abs fast, I don’t want to have to struggle to get there, that’s my trouble.

Dan: I am on a diet too bcs I am overweight, but as far as doing firm abs exercises that’s not gonna work for me because i have some arthritis and trouble with my lower back. but this stomach flab is bad and i need to find a way to fix it that isn’t too hard. A good reliable routine that i can do week after week. Looking online & will report back on what i find.

anita K: ted is right, that is a good routine, although i hate doing crunches. i feel like i need to do about 500 every day to get anywhere. i never knew anything could take the place of the good old fashion firm abs workouts but i am getting really tempted to lookinto an abs belt now. Am going to read more reviews.

Kaitlin: I dont’ think there’s a way you can get firm abs without some firm work! Still, I can’t help but wonder about the ab toning belts I’m seeing on t.v., a firm abs workout looks so easy with one of these, wondering if I should go ahead and order one of them, would LVOE to not go to the gym anymore.

Mia: I am like you Anita, i hate crunches and i know i could never do enough of them to get firm abs/flat stomach so i don’t waste my time and don’t do any, i mean why suffer if it’s not even gonna make a noticeable difference right? Diet and flex and ab toning belts are just the solution for me. I think that’s the best “routine” for me, may be 4 you too who knows.

Rochelle: Thought i was gonna get firm abs fast w/the Ab Lounge sport, but all i got was a spare lawn chair that isnt too comfortable. I learned the hard way, after trying a few programs like this, that I do NOT have the commitment to stick to an firm abs workout. I just don’t. So even if these other abdominal toners are decent, I’m not the type of person who does them. I think something like an ab belt is more my speed, its just realisitic and easy for firm abs flat stomach.
