Have seen a lot of ab exercisers on tv are they really easy. Are they for both men and women?
Corrie: I have seen some ab exercisers that you do on your knees and like roll out to different positions with your arms outstretched. but it seems a little hard and I am not coordinated. I would like to be able to move, to watch tv go online talk on the phone and cook dinnre while doing my ab workout. should be possible.
domenic: i think it depends on which ab exercisers you mean. There are a lot of that type of equipment thats pretty hard and punishing on your back. But i am starting to do some online research into some that DO seem to be really easy, specifically ab toning belts using EMS technology. to me they seem pretty awesome.
GeorgeRP: Yeah I think ab excercisers are for both guys and gals, but usually different equipment works differently for each sex. My wife uses this thing called an ab roller which i can’t even get on the floor to try and I have been using this thing that I found online that uses EMS or something. Anyway, it kind of tingles when I put it on, but it’s real easy to use, it’s an abdominal toning belt.
Lora: No kidding there are a lot of ab exercisers on TV! I sit there and watch them and think, okay, that doesnt look so bad. And then i get down on the floor and do about 20 crunches and then give up! I have yet to order one…some look easy, others pretty hard still. I;m leaning towards the abdominal toning belts, those seem the most my speed. Would love to know if anyone has tried a good one, a good ab belt that is?
eric: some of those ab exercisers that you might see advertised as looking so good are actually shoddy equipment with lose bolts or hinges. And not all of the are good for ur back. i want a good program w/good results…i dont mind working hard but i want to see it when i look in the mirror. from what i have been reading here and elswhere online, an abs contour belt is probably the way to go for me.
Carry: I was just checking the Abtronic Ab online and it had terrible ratings so i don’t know, I sure liked it when i saw on it TV. BTW it said it was for both men and women. I would think everything is for both gender since we all have abs.
Arturo: using ab exercisers is something I am new to was introduced to when I had a tutorial at the gym I always just thought you should walk or do situps but now that I am keyed into the technology I want the best there is. I want safe and effective, and I want measurable results.
Bruno: men and women are so differnt I cant imagine there is one ab exercisers that works for both genders.
MelonFool: Was reading a few ab belt reviews today and everyone seem to agree that whatever device you are gonna use to work on those abs, u gonna still need to do some cardio and have a clean diet.
kateydoodle: So but is it better to get an ab exercisers or to find DVDs that have ab workouts? i have a hard time believing that some of those things work ALL your ab muscles and like someone said, some are shoddy. I mean I guess you can research and read reviews online but still…I would find it hard to swallow that good ones are easy to use?? I’ve been on a diet program that involves eating more fruit, fiber, whole grains, etc and less refined carbs but the exercisers..that’s is where I;m lacking too. I wonder about those ab toning belts, are they all the same?
SHIRA: Why not Bruno? Ab muscles are the same no matter our sex, right? MAybe we metabolize foods differently, and maybe men get bigger biceps than women, but for ab toning? Why wouldn’t the ab exercisers work the same? I’m jsut curious, because I have also read some reviews on that EMS technology and I mean, they dont’ discriminate at the PT office I’ve been to. I’m thinking I need an ab shocker or something to get my muscles toned.
Tessa: I never even thought about using an ab excerciser until I saw that no amount of crunches or anything was getting rid of the fleshy sides on my torso. I’m a woman, but I have known lots of men who have the same problem, you know, love handles? Anyway, I have been looking all over the internet for something that is fast and easy and I am seriously considering one of those ab toning belts.
MATT_MAN: Well i do think SOME Ab exercisers are for men and women but some, not so much. i think some of the more weight-based ab exercisers are gonna be harder for women than for men. And not to mention another factor is your health over all and your bones and fitness level. But the ab belts are pretty much equal opportunity, what i mean is no matter where your starting out from you can get some good results without working to hard.
Geneva: I dunno about you, but some of those ab exercisers on t.v. look like torture devises left over from Torquemada, I want something simple and easy to use that both my boyfriend and I enjoy and that will keep us young and sexy, that’s the whole idea, isn’t it?
Dean: ANYTHING’s gotta be easier than that Pilates class my wife dragged me too! Was sore for a week! SHe can have her core exercises or whatever, what I need is a tried and true ab exerciser.Don’t care if it’s a little hard, sure it will be easy compare to that class. NEver again. I’ll take an a b belt, a roller, whatever work.
