Have been using abs weights for a week to build muscles fast. How long should a routine like this take to see results and would an ab shocker help at all?


PlanetJanet: What kinds of weights are you using? Ankle weights? Resistance? I dunno, a week doesn’t seem like a very long time to get results you can really notice, but an ab shocker would sure get you showing toned muscles faster than what you’re doing by itself, think you could work one into your routine and like what you see maybe quicker?

voltaire76: Again what kind of abs weights? You mean a weighted ball to do crunches with? This works, but will take some time if you can’t do it every day. An ab shocker will enhance any abdominal exercise routine. IMO.

mikeyD: Am pretty sure that including abs weights into your routine is gonna help you build muscle, however, I don’t tknow that you can expect huge results in just a week. I do think if you incorporate a toning belt you will see gains pretty fast like more definition in another week or two but don’t expect a six pack overnight, from any program you try. Best ab workouts for men at home, ha - not unless your one of those body builder men that already pretty much has one, that is.

Christina: Oooh, I want abs weights. I am tired of feeling pudgy. I want to get in shape and espexilly hve a good stomach which I used to hve.

Lila: I personally think that abs weights is not a good idea. Escially if like me you just want to get toned. Using weights will decrease the reps you can do. and to more the more reps the toner i get.

Jpeterson: Abs weights are great to build muscle, but probably not that fast. An ab shocker or ab belt will help you see more defintion quickly, for sure. Just make sure you get a good one that has been well reviewed.

Hugh: Its hard to say how long it takes t o see results, without all the specifics o f your routine. BUt I am in agreement that a combo of abs weights and some sort of ab shocker, plus cardio should show increased muscle tone fast, faster than with just one or the other. i seen something on tv that looked pretty good, not sure what it was called though. Plan on reading reviews for a good one myself.

Buddy: Abs weights? Be careful of your back! I think you have to work out WAY longer than a week with anything you’re trying to do to flatten your abs, don’t look for any overnight kind of success, and also, if you overdo you can tear your muscles and then it will take twice as long to get where you want to go, wearing an ab belt 30 minutes a day will for sure make your stomach look toned in an easy way compared to trying to literally bust a gut with over extensions. Take it easy, pal!

Hadley: Good to know more about abs weights etc and other ab machines tht will help me get in shape. I am a little fatter t. han I was this time lst year nd that feels crappy. I am dieting strting NOW!

Toni: Don’t like to use abs weights – kill my back, but do like the Contour abs belt with ball supported crunches for fast results. I have read about some ab belts scam but am not sure they are real or not.

Karenina: So are abs weights good for women or just men? I want to get firmer but not bulky. I am thinking just maybe an ab energizer will be enough for me. ANd does seem easy too.
