Does an ab belt work and is there ones that better for men vs for women. Is there a comparison or reviews out there?
Tom Slott: Have to say I’ve been wondering that myself and came here for some answers. Some of the ads I;ve seen are real promising for them, like the ab belt as seen on tv, sure looks like a good solution. I’ve just begun lookin g into these abs belts and have seen some reviews online. Still not made up my mind, I do believe I need a complete diet program and no t just a easy way to get rid o f my gut. The ones i seen, are good for both men & women, though, so it seems anyhow. I think they at least are worth a shot, if you find a good one, I’m not giving up.
Sam: I have seen a few ab belt “as seen on tv” models and some sounded like innovative technology while others sounded more like a bad joke. They seem to be both for men and women, at least they showed both wearing the ab shocker. I have yet to order one but it is on my x-mas list:)
Delia: I’ve been looking for an ab belt comparison, there’s sure more than one to look at! And I know that’s it’s not maybe important to some people, but expensive isn’t always best, I mean, I can’t just pick by price, I want quality in whatever abdominal belt I pick, only going to try this once… I want to make sure it works to get my stomach gone, gone gone.
Jules: been reading ab belt reviews all day long at work…I really know that losing weight is different for women then it is for men I can say this with authorty cause my husband and I have been on the same diet for two weeks and he lost 7 pounds and I lost 2 so I want a leg up, I want an ab toning belt that works for women really well I want rock hard six pack abs hell love. thanks to all with knowledge!
Rialtocraterkat: Seems like men and women have the same kinds of stomach muscles, so I can’t see why an ab belt wouldn’t work fine for either, I just want to know if they really work at all, I’ve read all about EMS and ab toning, makes sense so far, but I guess I’m looking for some testimonials so I can compare ab belt brands, and then i can choose, if this turns out to be the way to go.
Fergie M: HAve not seen any real differences in ab belts for men or for women but I HAVE seen plenty of online ab belt reviews. Just google it, or google a specific brand, that your looking for and see what comes up. I agree with Delia, qualtiy counts with these so I think it pays to research. Which is what I;m doing now. I still look like I’m 6 mos pregnant, i swear, and I need to get some muscle streght back.
Gia: Does an ab toning belt really qualify as an ab machine or is it something else? I’ve been online alot searching for what I think the perfect ab toning belt would be, but I’d sure like to see some before and after pics of people that have used some of the different brands, see if there’s any difference for what it does for men and women? I dunno, guess I’m a cautious consumer (except in what I eat) and this is a pretty big investment for me.
Tim: The best ab belt machine I have ever used was at the gym, i don’t know the name:( I moved and don;t go to that gym anymore, my new gym just has a bench and you can push yourself up with the handles and it sucks, it’s so hard. About the a b belt which i am now considering, I did find a comparison online but can’t remember the site, just google ab belt review or whatever and it should come up. I just know the flex belt abd the had the highest scores.
Tim: Ok I meant the 2 top ones were the flex belt and contour Abs belt.
carl o'shea: cannot speak for women but i know i’ve used one of those ab belt machine that works, for this 56 yr old man. Gotten more tone abs, not quite a six pack yet but felt better, and more definition, since using it these last few months. wear it while i run. doesn’t requrie any special routine or nothing, so long as you use it regular and you, know, probably watch the carbs and what not. read up on the flex belt, those reviews were good & i like it just as well.
Christy: So many ab belt brands out there & i never really know which one is best…right now i am reading online reviews but i would love to hear from a real live person waht do you think is the best in terms of being fast, easy, and workable into a busy schedule. I heard some of the ab shockers are good, but i worry if i get the wrong one maybe i will hurt myself. what do you think? BCS Tim i dont want to go to the gym and i would hate the idea of sharing an ab belt with smeone else.
GingerHEADSP: Hmmmmm….now I’m intrigued with the FlexBelt, thx, Tim! I’ve been looking at this one myself, pretty convinced this is the way to go, if you’re interested in before and after pics, somebody was aksing about that, there’s a bunch online taht are impressive, sure seems to work, this rig, I can work it into my schedule easy, how great to have a flat tummy again, I’m convinced it’s going to happen this time, the heck with all those gym machines that torture me!
Heath: ab crunches are boring I want to read more reviews of ab machines that actually work really well the technology is there and also I am eating healthier and doing cardio I just want to tone my stomah nothing wrong with that.
Anonymous: Seriously I never knew there were so many ab belt brands around either. I was watching tv the other nigh and an ad came on, it was the first i ever heard of this type of workout, using an abdominal toner. So is that contour abs belt another brand too? I wasn’t sure should i sign up for an online diet program or look for something like this, that might be sorta easy, probably fast too. Seems like this could be really good investment.
Jasmine: So if I’m reading here correctly, the ab belt works for both men and women well that’s a relief that means I know exactly what to get my boyfriend for Christmas and when I tell him it’s for both of us he won’t think I’m criticizing which he says I do a lot, and then with this abdominal toner we’ll both be looking good again like when we met two years ago, lately we’ve been feeling like seniors, all we do is watch t.v. and have snacks, this is going to be a routine we’re going to love!
katherine: what about ab belt as seen on TV? i want something reputable that gives results and isn’t too hard to do. I mean, right now I happen to be pregnant so i am not doing anything (except eating LOL) but what i mean to say, is, i do NOT want that “pouch” that happens after pregnancy to be sticking around. i want that taken care of asap. I have seen lots of commercials for abdominal toning belts and i have read some reviews and from what i am reading hear the EMS technology sounds great for my back and also for the hectic schedule i have now and will have even more so soon.
Suzanne_NJ: Hello Tim,are flex belt and contour abs belt both ab belt brands? Or is it a different way to call the abdominal toning belt?
KelseyTaylor: waiting for old ab belt to work I started to research real abdominal machines reading reviews etc what I should have done I learned a lot and know that you dont need to do the crunches to achieve 6 pack abs with the ritgh equiptement.
vinnie: definitely think its wise to do an ab belt comparison before purchasing one, i found lots of helpful review sites online before getting mine. seems to work just as good for women as for men, i got it for myself but my wife is always using it. good thing the thing can be adjusted, she’s smaller than me. only thing is if you share one, need to stock up on the gel pads to replace ‘em more frequently. no biggie, just an fyi. take a look at the flex belt, its what i use, both of us are seeing results, just from using it about 5 x/ week. never seen anything as easy.
alice: vinnie, which review sites did you use online for your ab belt comparison? it seems like there are so many and i don’t know where to begin. (yes i am having a bit of a senior moment). i just want a safe, easy abdominal toner that will give results.
Sadie: I’ve been reading all the reviews I can find on ab toning belts and they sure have a lot of appeal, I don’t see how I can say no to one, I’m thinking the Flex Belt, just like a lot of you, seems like it will do the job of about 1000 crunches, let’s hear it for that! The results I’m seeing on line are fantastic, this baby is going to be part of my new exercise schedule…wonder if the FlexBelt people would like a before and after pic of me? it’s gonna be something, I’ll bet!
Olga: I’m a 34 year old woman who is in pretty decent shape and use an abdominal belt for ab toning. It works for me, no matter what brand you are gonna go with make sure to heat healthy and do some cardiovascular workout, there is nothing such as a magic belt that just eat up the fat for you, it just stimulate the muscle that’s that.
vinnie: hey alice, you know i can’t remember exactly what site it was, all i know is i ended up on the flex belt site and watched a video, read the testimonials. you can just search for ‘ab belt reviews’ or go straight to the site. and uh, by the way, this is working my upper AND lower abs, put it on while i;m getting ready for work and ab workout is done for the day. i mean you can certainly look at all the ab belt brands, altho i do like the flex belt, if you want a specific rec.
alice: oK, Vinnie, I will try it that way…i will search online under ‘ab belt reviews’ and somehting will surely come up. thank you, dear. for helping a confused senior – consider it your good deed of the day!
Marina: Men do seem to have it easy when it come to their abs, always seems to come easy. I’ve come across an ab belt as seen on tv too and want to try, I really feel its the only way I can get even close t o a six pack. will compare brands, appreciate seeing this info here on a b belts.
