Do you know if a tummy workout video like the kind on tv work like an abdominal toning belt?

CaptainK: Well it’s completely different. The tummy workout video just shows you how to do a proper crunches for those who don’t know how. An ab belt is just muscle stimulation on your ab area. But maybe both would be good ab exercises for lower abs ?

Charlene, GA: Not sure which tummy workout video on tv you’ve seen so I think it all depends on the routine they do in the video. I mean, I’ve seen some that are more cardio focused, where some are more mat-based. SO in conclusion, I would say they probably don;t work like a toning belt? But I seem to have had some improvement from using one & its super easy to stick to a plan, lots easier than motivating to watch a video.

Terry: I have done tummy workout video like abs of steel never used a belt but I wnt to try it because I am more busy then ever and have less time to exercise but I put on weight much more easily. I never knew I ws so skinny!

Maddie: Um, your question is a bit confusing, I guess what you’re asking is some of the tummy work outs on tv work as good as an ab toning belt? Or the other way around? I dunno, they seem kind of apples and oranges to me, you either want to sweat your brains out and have to wait a long time for results, or you can pick an ab toning belt that will do the work for you and you can kick back and watch tv while you wait for results? Seems like a no brainer to me.

Hailey: No, i don’t think a tummy workout video is the sae as using an ab belt, but some of the better ones come with videos. You really don’t need to work very hard wearing the contour system, but the more effort you put in, the better the results will be. Maybe go and read some ab toning belt reviews?

GenevaSwitzerland: I bet if I lived there and could go skiing all the time then I sure wouldn’t need a tummy workout video, or an ab belt either, I’d be exercising every day like a crazy person which seems to me to be the only way to lose weight and keep toned, have to make it a part of everyday living…I dunno though, how much does it cost to live there do you think?

Louisa: A video would not work the same as a belt but most of the tummy workout video s I have tried dont do much I am trying an ab machine and cardio routine combined. Hoping it works on this band of belly fat.

Jo: Oh i did abs of steel way back too, and it was hard! WHat I’ve elarned is tha unless you change your diet and indrease your heart rate, you are not really going to lose that much belly fat. Ab belts and ab videos cacn help, but not without other effort.

Adrienne: The last tummy workout video I did that I really liked was a Pilates one but if I heard those voices again, Tracy and Michelle, I thought I’d just go nuts, so now I’m thinking an abs belt, I’ve been watching an infomercial on tv about it, seems like it might be an easy way to get toned in a week or two…

Anonymous: Hmmmm given the choice between a good abdominal toner , such as the flex belt, and a random tummy workout video with bad music & annoying instructors, I’d go with the ab belt. The only thng htats the sameis you can do the work out at home. But even with a belt, you have more portability, so…better investment, in my opinion.
